Vintage Colonial Couple Covered Lidded Dish Japan Fruit Holiday Dining Entertaining

Vintage oblong covered serving dish. It measures approx. 8-1/2 " long x 4 1/2 tall point 3 1/2 wide.

It's decorated with grape clusters, grape leaves and a courting couple. The couple is holding grapes. Gold trimmed. Made of porcelain or ceramic. It's stamped JAPAN. It's probably from the 1940's.

Add it to your holiday table or Shabby Chic/Country Chic kitchen decor. Pre owned. It has some fading, some rough edges and a small chip on the inner opening. All sales are final and as is. Thank you for looking.
