This delightful First Year of Issue Early 20th Century Vintage Antique Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Maisie" Hn 1619 decorated in a red and pink colourway was designed by leading Doulton artist, Leslie Harradine. Issued from 1934 to 1949. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed back stamp of the period, "Maisie" Rd. No.787519, for 1933 in green script, Potted by Doulton & Co, Hn 1619, and the legible year Number 7 for 1934, indicating this to be a First Year of Issue figurine, and in black, the Painter's monogram El for Tim Leigh recorded as working at Doulton from 1930 to 1979.
