Here I have a lovely example of the craftsmanship in this cross using the Millefiori Italian Design. The term millefiori is a combination of Italian words "mille" (thousand) and "Fiori" (flowers). It is a glasswork technique that produces decorative flower patterns on glassware/Jewelry. Such as was used in this beautiful "Fiori" Cross. The flowers/Splash are encased in glass.
