HISTORY ON THE ARTIST;;; Artist Bio: Born in San Perdo, California in 1954, Stephen Mirich began competing and exhibiting in art events regularly by the age of fifteen. While at Harbor College studying architecture his primary focus was a career in fine art. Mirich studied with the noted artist Theodore N. Lukits (1892-1992) at the Lukits Academy of Fine Arts in Los Angeles and took private studies with artist Julian Ritter.
